We had a quick layover at SFO and knew we needed to grab some food before our next flight. As we rushed to terminal G we passed up a bunch of good places to eat, however, when we got to G the selection was quite limited. We decided to try this place out since they had a good looking selection and the prices weren't outrageous. We got ramen, miso soup and an assortment of tempura. Everything was packed up nicely for us to take on the plane and it was also delicious. The enoki mushrooms in the miso soup was a nice added touch. If you find yourself in terminal G I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Went for Dinner Food - 5/5. Gyudon had tender beef with a good balance of sweet and salty flavors. Rice was fluffy and the pickled ginger made for a nice palate cleanser. Spicy tuna rolls were yummy with a mild kick. The rolls themselves had a rustic unevenness to them, showing that they are made in-house. Nigiris were fresh and flavorful with a good ratio of rice to fish. They gave a nice selection of the standard fare, with the yellowtail being my favorite. Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly service. Food came out in good time and the staff clear the dining area when possible. Value - 5/5. Since it is an airport, I expect higher price tags but the prices here are easily comparable to the local area. Gyudon was $15 and the sushi combo $17.50; it wouldn't be uncommon to see higher prices from competitors in the bay. Portion sizes were good and the food was better than expected. Great location for airport dining! Parking - N/A

Excellent airport Japanese food, above average for a sushi spot in general - which if you're trapped in Terminal G (with its relatively limited options compared to other SFO terminals) is a great bet! Sake sashimi was generously portioned. Chilled soba noodles were satisfying. #protip: Get the items to go and carry them down the hall to enjoy on Terminal G's lovely outdoor terrace.
