This is a good choice for casual Japanese food and sushi. I ordered some sushi, both nigiri and rolls and my dining partner ordered cooked food. My sushi was good...the fish was fresh and the rice was good quality and prepared properly. My dining partner stated that her cooked chicken dish and miso soup were good. The service was attentive and very friendly and the ambiance was good...if you get a window seat, you're afforded a nice view of Chinatown. We will definitely be back...it wasn't the best sushi and Japanese food that we've had, but it's definitely a solid choice and worth a visit!

I needed to grab a bite before an appointment so came here. I was skeptical because nobody else was in the restaurant. The sushi and sashimi were surprisingly excellent! I would definitely come back here.

Food is excellent. Sushi chef prepared it nicely as we happen to be the last customers of the night. They close at 10pm, and in Chinatown area...this happens to be the only one open late on a Tuesday evening. It was our last night in San Francisco and decided to hit up Chinatown. The place inside looked decent. Location is accessible anywhere. Towards the end of my dinner, possibly 30minutes before closing, I was rushed by the waiter to hurry up because they were closing. Mind you, my sashimi was delicious and it comes with heavy sticky white rice-- meaning, I can't just shove it down my throat without choking. Yet, I had to do it. I wanted to be offended, instead I knew they had a long night and wanted to go home. Plus, it was a cultural thing--so I get it. But...damn. Hold on. Lemme enjoy this meal, bro.

My first time trying this place and it has good quality for a decent price! Appetizers Shumai salad was presented well and the taste was superb. We had the bento box special chicken katsu, 4 veggie tempura and California roll. The chicken katsu had a nice clean looking being very moist. Bento beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura and tuna roll. The beef teriyaki was thick, it's a light charred outside but tender and tasty inside. Also the tempura taste good. It was very comfortable to dine here and party was spaced out well.

Stopped in for some lunch. I don't eat seafood so sushi was not on my list but I did see that there were other items I knew I would enjoy. It was pretty empty when I went in but the over all feel of the place was pretty spacious. There was one server present and he indicated to help myself to any table. They have lots of sushi options and some bento box specials but I was more into the appetizers and ordered a la cart. The gyoza was ok, I can tell it's the frozen variety but it seems to be the standard in most Japanese restaurants now a days. The vegetable tempura was good, a light & crunch batter with a nice dipping sauce. I loved the green beans, I wish I had more! The chicken Karaage is my favorite. I love the crunchiness of the chicken. It was served with a sort of honey mustard sauce but I did request a lemon wedge and squeezed it on to my chicken, it made the flavors pop! A small bowl of rice and I was in my own world, enjoying my food and watching the world walk by. The waiter was nice & was attentive, making sure my glass of water was always full - thank you for that! If you happen upon this place, stop in for some lunch - maybe you'll enjoy your experience too. Enjoy! :)
