4+ Just a heads up - my experience just involved coming in to get a beer. I didn't order any of the food / BBQ. The vibe here feels like more of an upscale pub/ restaurant with full bar. I didn't interact with any of the servers, but the bartenders were friendly. The whiskey list was pretty extensive (I always look when available).] My visit though, was specifically to get a pour of Pliny The Younger. It was that time of year when Russian River Brewing distributed their most sought after beer. A friend of mine tipped me off that they were tapping their keg here and I was unable to go another scheduled night with a group of friends. I walked in, sat directly at the bar. It wasn't as crowded as I was expecting. It was actually really chill that night. Was able to get a pour right away and I enjoyed to the last sip. I could have easily gotten more pours, but I really wanted to just stop by to get at least one and head home because it was getting late for me. Overall, very enjoyable experience. Metered parking available along a busy stretch of Ventura Blvd, but after a certain time, it's free. During the week parking is pretty easy to find.

Been a couple times now and will definitely be back to try more! We had great service both times - first time we were seated in the patio out front and then second time out back in the dog friendly area. They were fairly busy but we still had super speedy & friendly service. The second visit we both got sandwiches - brisket & fried chicken. Omg amazing! If this place was closer to me I'd be stopping by every week. The fried Mac & cheese side was good too though I think next time I'll stick with fries since it was pretty heavy. Also tried the bourbon sweet tea which was is dangerously good

As with all restaurants on Ventura Blvd, parking is available in the neighborhoods around the corner. We were seated pretty quickly. Friendly service. I had the Ribs & Meat -baby back ribs & brisket with coleslaw. The ribs were not as tender as I liked but I ate it all. The brisket was good and the coleslaw yummy! He had the brisket sandwich with fried Mac & cheese. He enjoyed it and let me taste the yummy Mac & cheese. Thanks Boneyard peeps!

I've lived in the area forever and it wasn't until last Friday that I finally took a chance on Boneyard. I am so particular about my BBQ and for some reason I just never came in regardless of smelling them smoke meats all week for YEARS. I'd had the day from hell and my bff and I went out to grab dinner and ended up at the bar here. Make a rezzie if you're coming on a Friday. They were booked! I love a barstool and we just lucked out right before we were going to leave with two openings. My old fashioned was sooooo good! One of the nicer ones I've had in quite awhile. We shared the spicy chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries, collard greens and ordered the pizza rolls app. Service was great and the vibe was perfection, exactly what I needed after a challenging day (a great mix of folks minding their business and enjoying yummy drinks and eats). I can totally see making this my every Friday night spot but I do enjoy cooking on Friday nights and staying in sometimes. There's a barstool on the end near the wall that I snagged and I think it's calling my name asking to be my new fav seat. My Mom and Dad have eaten here and spoke very highly of it. My Dad apparently has a friend that goes in weekly, sits at the bar and loves a certain beer here. I think they definitely have their regulars from what I could tell. It took me forever but now that I've been I can say it's totally worth a visit. I'll be back very soon.
